[ QUOTE ]
It's annoying but not hard to profit from. [/ QUOTE ] I do know of at least one good way to exploit a habitual minraiser... Make a small donk bet of like 1/4 the pot into them with your FD or OESD. They minraise you, you of course call getting great odds. If you miss the turn re-donk. Could take them a couple of stackings to realize they're being schooled. |

Re: NL 25: What\'s up with all these min 3-bets pf and minraises?
I think you are better off betting pot to maximize fold equity- when they minraise you will almost always have implied odds to call, and the pot will be too big for them to get away from when you hit. It also acts as shania for your big hands you want to bet hard.

Well you can see why and how in this hand, I know alot of 2+2ers love 3betting AK/QQ/JJ , I am not one of them alot of players withn QQ will call a PF raiser and felt a non A or K board....but you knew that. [/ QUOTE ] Are you saying you don't 3bet QQ,JJ,AK? Do you 3bet anything besides KK,AA? |

[/ QUOTE ] yes...i agree with this...i hate minraisers too...what i do is take notes on ppl...something like minraise preflop=strength or =weakness...if its weakness i play accordingly...strength i do to...if theyre unknown i just ignore it and make my standard play...it works fine...i just see it as a limp |

Re: NL 25: What\'s up with all these min 3-bets pf and minraises?
I see this a lot at 25NL now. I think it's all part of the Continuation Bet Evolution. Everyone CBs now and everyone is aware of it. So when the flop looks like it missed it's common to see a raise to resteal and then somewhat common to see a battle if it doesn't work.
