Re: Playing against LAGs - is it worth it?
Okay it can't be that bad having 3 LAGs to your left. Most of your raising is going to come from the button/CO where you'll have position on at least 2 of them. A good LAG should be avoided if he's on your left but these guys sound terrible.

Re: Playing against LAGs - is it worth it?
it is not an ideal table, but is certainly fairly good, you just have to adapt to the table dynamics (ie - nit it up)
today there was a massive lagtard to my direct right and it was a very profitable situation to get into. he 3bet me all the time. so i 4bet with AJo and he called all in with 43s. they will run you over every time if you just play on autopilot, but if you just tighten up alot and never fold good hands to them, you will be fine. |

Re: Playing against LAGs - is it worth it?
also if the lagtard is fond of squeezing you can flat call with big hands AQ+, TT+ and shove on him when he squeezes and the original raiser folds

c/cing down with 3rd pair is not the way to beat a 70 vpip.

Re: Playing against LAGs - is it worth it?
This sounds like a ripe table and you have a great seat, imo. Guys with stats like these are usually pretty easy to play postflop. If you can adjust your cbetting appropiately and control the pot size these guys are goldmines no matter where they're sitting at the table. Its a lot easier to get money from TAGs when you have position too.

A friend of mine pointed me to this post and said:
[14:17] friend: "I feel like I've just been schooled by a bunch of LAGs! It was a 6-max table with 2 TAGs on my right and 3 LAGs on my left - 70/30, 50/20 and 50/10" [14:17] friend: lol @ calling latter three anything but "[censored] retards" I agree with his view wholeheartedly. True LAGs (dudes that play like 28/24 and put lots of pressure on you postflop) are tough players that I generally avoid sitting with. The dudes in your post are the reasons why you play poker. |

Re: Playing against LAGs - is it worth it?
wow this is DEF not an auto 3bet, lol. I prob would raise his flop bet, but this hand really is postflop read dependent.
