Re: Very good movies with very bad endings
Changing Lanes, I thought this was a really solid flick until the cheesy feel-good ending.

[ QUOTE ] collateral [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, this was an OK movie. Cruise is such a queer, it would have been better with another lead, but whatever. From the point of the car chase, the movie went downhill. The DA tie-in was also homosexual. |

[/ QUOTE ] The scene in the nightclub is by far the best in the movie. Cruise actually makes himself look good when he stands there and doesn't move when he reloads his gun. But in general I think everyone was disppointed with the movie overall. |

The Departed...I mean WTF ! [/ QUOTE ] And it isn't close. ***SPOILER IN WHITE*** Once Nicholson dies(it's not a spoiler, the movie sucks) it just gets exponentially worse until the credits start. |

LOTR: Return of the King. [/ QUOTE ] I really loved the movies, but I'll agree with you here. There was a good 10-15 mins at the end that should have been on just the extended version. |
