The best part is when the kids cry.

Crying in sports is so ghey. I don't care if you're a 350 lb nose tackle. You shouldn't be crying cause someone is better than you.

I just wanted to take the time to post that it really sucks that they put this drivel on national tv. I can't believe people actually are entertained by this stuff. On the other hand, it's espn, so I'm not surprised at all. If it wasn't for football I wouldn't even want the channel nowadays.

I watched the taipei vs netherlands game yesterday and it was good times. The Taipei pitcher was impressive.

You're right tho obviously, they should have not put it on and just double their coverage of the national school scrabble championships that was on right after, ldo.

The Oregon/MA game yesterday:
That fat kid who hit the HR in the 5th for OR is a beast.
Not to mention the 12 year old pitcher who's 6'1."
Sometimes this game is just a contest of who can hit puberty first.

In a lot of places, the best kids do not play in the little league association. I know this is true in Nebraska. All of the really good teams play under USSSA. 11 and 12 year olds play under normal baseball rules in USSSA - dropped 3rd strike, leadoffs, normal steals, balks, etc.

Brag: I also call home sweet home to the same place that the Canadian representative for the LLWS is: White Rock/South Surrey! These kids are frickin' slammin', by the way. Outscored their opponents in the Canadian nationals 88-8, going 7-0 enroute. First game is against Saudi Arabia... I really hope they become the first Canadian team to take down the LLWS!

You're from Canada AND a Yankees fan? That should win you a bad beat jackpot or something.

12ressiMorP,

Really? I would love to hear what it is like from a player's perspective. If it was recently, what was all the media like? Playing in AAU Nationals were some of my favorite experiences from my childhood... I can't even imagine if the games were being televised on national TV.
