Re: new borgata poker room photos
I hope they at least cleaned those chips. Last time I was there they were sticking like crazy. I mean at least at the Chicagoland poker rooms (I think Trump) they can use the excuse of a Krispy Kreme in the room.

Re: new borgata poker room photos
the chips stick because they are so smooth there is a little bit of air suction between them in the center, not because they are dirty [i think]

Re: new borgata poker room photos
they have brand new chips in the new table game pits, both the high limit pit and normal area - also the new high limit pit (level one) is the friggin' nuts... soooo much better than the old one, and the bar up there has anything you could possibly want - great spot to piss away purple chips
the chips are the exact same design, etc. but are clay - no stickyness to them - was told that they purchased all new chips for those pits and the old chips would stay in the old pits scotthoward, i was just running through the room taking it all in when i got there and taking a few pics to post up on here, if you see me again stop me and say hello 7 hours of blackjack grinding, took a huge loss out of the gate, got back to even+, lost big again, just quit even+ again, and +600 comp dollars so cha-ching! back at it again tomorrow after the tourney |

[/ QUOTE ] Yes, 1st floor all the way in the back of the casino (coming from the parking garage/starbucks). It's a whole new wing with a new racebook, restaurants, and the fast food court in the basement directly below the poker room. Was there for the $250+30 tournament today and it was a madhouse. Tourney started at noon, I got there at 9:45 and the line was already halfway down the main casino aisle. By 11am it ran the entire length of the casino floor to the lobby. They ended up capping the entries at about 520 players. I busted when my AK ran into a set on a K63 board, but it was an awesome time. Only compaint is the TVs, which were too high and too small to see anything. This place is really in a class by itself for AC poker right now. |
