I've got no problems with pre-flop.

No. You are wrong. He should clearly make it 80 and 60 is a terrible play. He (and anyone else who thinks 60 is good there) should quit poker and strongly consider knitting.

If you bet the flop 100+ Kings go away or rr bluff. They don't call. Then if you get the river...you don't believe a AI and call it, because you don't believe they have a K.

Because?

Personally, because I alter my pre-flop raise and go as much as I think I can get away with with big pockets, I would raise 80 or more but if hero only ever raises 3x BB, I'm cool with that.

And why would I be good at knitting?

If this is a $3-15 sng. I like the 60 preflop. BB vs SB a large bet means you only get blinds. With AA you want HU, you want action.
Step 1 .. we have HU. Step 2 We want action. Don't chase him away. 60 is fine. 80 is Ok...Higher he folds too much. I want him to see a flop with a A or K so he bets.

My thoughts again, i know i butchered this hand.

I have had good success with raising 3bb in bb when all fold, and sb calls, then c betting. Similar thing in sb when all fold to me. THis has improved my mtt results magnificantly. I steal more blinds and pots on flop, and then sb starts to donate his blind to me.

So far, i havent had the chance to raise out of either blind once, so he doesnt know i will do it with any 2

Hoh seems to like half pot bets, doyle seems to pot or overbet everything. Half pot would be 6, agreed i should have done 80 or 100

Turn, okay, i made a decent bet. On river i was kinda like a deer in the headlights. Worried about kj, kq etc.

Plus, i got c r on river as a bluff twice recently, so was really rattled!

Keep up the sarcastic comments guys, it really makes me play better, and avoid this sort of pussy footing around in future!

One question, on making it 80 instead of 60.

What should be my default play with any 2? I am currently 60 pf, and 80 on flop regardless, if raised, i then look at my cards

Should my default play be 80 pf, and 100 on flop regardless?

Currently, when caught out, my thieving costs me 140, or 7bb, if i move it up a bit, it will cost me 180, or
9bbs. Is this anything to worry about? After continually raising, i know someone will soon craise me, and i 90% of the time drop.
