Chicago Cubs regular season wins Over 84 Reg season wins -105 [/ QUOTE ] Maybe so many years of living in Chicago has made me cynical, but why in the world isn't Under a layup here? An 18-game improvement for the North Siders? |

Lee plus a healthy W. Miller plus maybe they can straighten out Marquis plus maybe a healthy K. Wood in the bullpen plus a full year of R. Hill starting and God willing, M. Prior. Look at how many starts last year were made by AAA pitchers (Marshall, Marmol, Guzman, Ryu, plus a couple of others). This is a vastly different team so vastly different results aren't going to be much of a surprise. Note: I am a homer. |

Re: Baseball Future Bets
84 is about the right number. best bets: white sox under 88
next best bet : white sox under 87. Next best bet: white sox under 86. AZ over, LAD under are decent. |

I am saying that there is enough of a difference in this team from last year's that could make an 18 game turnaround possible. |
