You definitely need to play that flop more aggresively, you need to get as much money in on the flop as possible. With a nice draw like that you could check/raise v.easily.

i'm curious why no one likes just calling the flop, because when we call the flop and are OOP we can save a lot of BB's when the turn bricks or pairs, and are faced w/ a PSB.

obv. given the results, a push on the flop was correct.

i think some of the repsonses here are a little too results oriented.

Because we have a monster draw on the flop, but the flush draw is only K high. Give me the NFD and I think your line is fine.

Might be better not to include results so early.

how many BB's do you think youre gonna win when you turn a dia or 4 or some other card that doesnt give JOe the nuts...youre playing your hand face up i think when ur just in the middle of 2 players smooth callin bets like a girl..

If you had included the results or not I still would have said push the flop.

If you are in position against a bad opponent who'll pay you off when you hit good then yes a call is fine.

But you are OOP against a good player who wont be stupid enough to pay off if a diamond hits ie your implied odds arent very good

So you call and the Ad falls off. What now? You bet 2/3 pot and he folds. Awesome!

generally you shouldn't ever fold on a turn brick with a wrap and 2nd nut fd.
