probably the most overrated band of all time.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah... i mean... they have one of the worlds best guitar players, an above average drummer, and a front man that just ooozes rock and roll... but your probably right.

[/ QUOTE ]

Hahaha..yeah 20 years ago. From the looks of things he's oozing alot more than rock & roll. Christ the guy looks like he's decaying.

[/ QUOTE ]

What does that have to do with what the band has accomplished or brought to rock-n-roll?

They only did to the 80s what Nirvana did to the 90s. Hardly overrated.

incorrect! David Lee Roth in Van Halen = music genius!

I hope they make a new album and not just tour.

Nobody should give a crap.

I saw VH in 1978 when they opened for Black Sabbath. One of the most kick ass shows I have ever seen. Even Ozzy Osbourne (yes folks, he was in Black Sabbath back then) said after the show: "they kicked our asses off the stage." He was right.

There is nothing more pathetic then a has-been frontman getting together with his 3/4 of a rock band to try and eek out another few bucks.

I'll stick with VH on my IPOD, thanks.

Without Michael Anthony's incredibly high/powerful backup vocals, this is a mistake. If they were going to play small LA clubs, I would consider going just to see Eddie do his thing--up close, but no way would I bother at a bigger venue.

I posted about this awhile back.

I may fly down to LA to see them. Just in case they break up before they make it up here.

Losing M Anthony you lose the high harmony. Not too much to worry about on bass though. Couldn't really hear it much anyways other than the beginning of a couple songs. Still not really happy that he won't be there.
