Some guy on the cardrunners forums was doing this for a while, ran into some problems and for some reason (unsure of details) got his account frozen by stars. I think he has a thread in this forum about it also.

You will eventually transfer scammers (Credit card theft and chip dumpers) money then the poker site will freeze and seize all your money. [/ QUOTE ] Exactly! I looked into setting something like this up.. and it will just be wayyyyy too much of a hassle when it could all be shut down by fraud |

I think this is a great idea but I think all the red tape prevents it from being a realistic possibility.
I don't know what country you're in but I think most governments would handle this similar to the U.S. in many ways. Not from a gambling perspective but you would probably be treated as some sort of banking institution. This will probably require lots of federal licenses, insurance and who knows what else. I think it's a valuable service, but I don't think it's as easy as setting up a website and having accounts on every poker site. Sorry to piss on your parade. |

I think this is a great idea but I think all anti-money laundering laws prevents it from being a realistic possibility. I don't know what country you're in but I think every government except North Korea would handle this identical to the U.S. in every way. Not from a gambling perspective but you would definitely be treated as some sort of banking institution. This will probably require lots of federal licenses, insurance and who knows what else. I think it's a valuable service, but I know it is not as easy as setting up a website and having accounts on every poker site. [/ QUOTE ] fyp random muppet setting this up has no hope. |
