Some guy on the cardrunners forums was doing this for a while, ran into some problems and for some reason (unsure of details) got his account frozen by stars. I think he has a thread in this forum about it also.

You will eventually transfer scammers (Credit card theft and chip dumpers) money then the poker site will freeze and seize all your money.

Exactly! I looked into setting something like this up.. and it will just be wayyyyy too much of a hassle when it could all be shut down by fraud

I think this is a great idea but I think all the red tape prevents it from being a realistic possibility.

I don't know what country you're in but I think most governments would handle this similar to the U.S. in many ways. Not from a gambling perspective but you would probably be treated as some sort of banking institution. This will probably require lots of federal licenses, insurance and who knows what else. I think it's a valuable service, but I don't think it's as easy as setting up a website and having accounts on every poker site.

Sorry to piss on your parade.

I think this is a great idea but I think all anti-money laundering laws prevents it from being a realistic possibility.

I don't know what country you're in but I think every government except North Korea would handle this identical to the U.S. in every way. Not from a gambling perspective but you would definitely be treated as some sort of banking institution. This will probably require lots of federal licenses, insurance and who knows what else. I think it's a valuable service, but I know it is not as easy as setting up a website and having accounts on every poker site.
