You have to be joking. Having someone bet into you when you're holding AA pf is the best feeling in the world.

So you got your money in with a 70% chance to triple up and you wondered if that was a bad gamble? Don't be results oriented. Yeah, you know what, bad beats suck. They suck worse when you have AA because it's memorable. But anytime you can get all the chips in the middle of the table preflop when you have AA, it was correctly played.

Nice bad beat post.

I'm sorry, but no ... I'm not sorry. Anyone whoever decides to fold AA EVER (except satellite RARE situation), you deserve to lose and be the brunt of our typing attack.

If you TRULY think you should EVER fold AA preflop, I'd like to play you many many times. All the time.

No bad beat posts, please.

I thought it was the right play gambling wise, just a question of whether I gave up too much of an oppurtunity cost to be bounced from the tourney so quickly instead of grinding it out.

Since you are not joking, the polite answer is beat them in the pot with your chips and cross your fingers.

Same answer if 6 people went all in in front of you.

Your edge is so big, and the value of tripling up is so high that you do it every time.

ps. You should do the same with KK too...

Preflop... key word there. Too many new players play AA postflop like it's the nuts, slowplaying it to the river and wondering, "Why did I get sucked out on?".

One time I was a favorite to win a hand PF and I ended up losing.

True story.
