jesus,

i've had enough of this trolling.

you think me quoting a 41-year old Pete Townshend lyric and and adpoting ideas from a 30+ year old movie would give you a clue that i'm not taking this thing seriously.

also, the un-original thinking is PART OF THE JOKE.

also, i don't need a reason or a justification to get [censored]-faced and write.

i've got a lot of brilliant stuff written, in case you care.

i'm disappointed that you took my jokes this seriously.

lame.

[/ QUOTE ]

Get over yourself, Shadow. The part of my post where I said to Iggy, "I think Shadow's just trolling," might've given YOU a clue that I wasn't taking you seriously. On the other hand, if you think I'm going to let you get away with posting a big, steaming pile like this and think you're witty, then you're not half as clever as I think you are...which is only about a third as clever as you think you are.

Oh, and it should be "my" quoting, not "me" quoting.

Edited to add: that's part of the problem with kids. They all think they're so effing clever, and the rest of the world is just too retarded to get their "jokes." I was the same way, back in aught-seven or aught-eight.

Iggy, blah. Michael Richards's outburst was an accident.

[/ QUOTE ]

I was gonna say, "like Andy Kaufman or Michael Richards," but thought shadow might not see the humor in the Andy reference. (BTW, Kaufman and Richards together...it gets good at about 3:30.)

[ QUOTE ]
I don't think Shadow believes anything he says, he's just trolling.

[/ QUOTE ]

I recognized this the first time he said something about "my tax dollars."

And you say you appreciate Shadow! Poh! He's very subtle...I'm especially impressed with the way he closes every post with an idiom that could easily be argued to have been lifted from another generation.

i'm down.

although in an actual fight, i'm sure i would lose.

we should make it a battle of the wits. pton v. davidson. it'd be like the civil war all over again.

hollaback, boz.

Sorry, I was raised in Virginia, so I can't accept this premise. (btw, wtf means "10k fight"? HU $10,000 buy-in?)

That said, I love a good battle of wits. Keep your Iocain powder to yourself, however, Wesley (if you don't recognize the reference, figuring it out will get you laid at least twice, maybe three times). I'll take Paxosmotic as my second...you name yours, and we'll give them time to negotiate terms.

dav = pton of the south. right before the civil war, davidson had to put their entire endowment into confederate currency. if that hadn't happened, davidson would have the largest endowment in the nation and not have the inferiority complex that we have.

$10k fight, yo is a bbv reference. i'd be down for a hu $10k buyin vs. you, btw.

i get the iocain[e] reference. i've seen the movie. sadly, you have to be a bit more creative than that to get laid at school, however. even the dumber girls know what "watching a movie" means. ya gotta trick em.

i'll take tiltaholic as my second. i'm not really sure why we need seconds though?

holla.
