Slothinator-

It appears that he can start 6 forwards, position isn't a factor. So he should be drafting the top forward, not the top winger. But that's great advice if the league makes you start LW/C/RWers.

Actually, his league does distinguish between C and W, but not LW and RW. My advice only partially applies.

It says you can start 0-6 C/W.... I'm assuming that means you just need to fill 6 starters total between the two. Why would it say you can start 0 W if you need to start a W?

Good point, I think you're right. If it's just six forwards, then wingers are going to be the way to go all the way through for the most part. Not many centers are big time scorers.

Sorry about the confusion. Yeah its basically any 6 on offense, 4 on D and 2 goalies.. I do have to draft 3 centers for some reason though..I asked and I can drop them immeadiatally for others.

I guess if wings would be best for this system, I should stack up on wings, then use my Cs late on high risk youngsters?

Thanks again for all the help

We going to use this one to post lineups ? Someone want to make an official one ? Comments on my lineup. It's just straight up points total, +/- shots and pims all contribute, on top of the usual stuff. No bench spots, everyone plays. Obviously RW is a concern, some good waiver guys out there if I'm quick about it.

Luongo/Emery
Savard/E Staal/Nylander/Horton
Kovalchuk/Frolov/Holmstrom/Sturm
Pomanville/Guerin/Penner/Ryder
Gonchar/Mcabe/Boucher/Timmonen/Markov/Ohlund

Damn, forgot about the draft last night. Oh well, I sorta happy with my team. My Jiggy/Hasek combo should be great once JS is back. My D of Lidstrom, Scotty Nieds, Schnieder, Hamrlik, Volchenkov, & Numminen should put up great #'s once/if Nieds returns. I'm going to need production from them because I just have a bunch of 20-something goal scorers and guys with less than 50 assists on offense. Very goalie and D heavy team.

It's also nice that I'll have some Ducks to cheer for instead of against.

I think I've got a strong lineup.

My draft is tomorrow. Have the number 3 pick. Is there any reason not to take whoever is left from Crosby/Ovech/Loungo?

Also, anyone have some middle/late round targets I should be looking at? I have a pretty good feel on the top part of the draft but have a feeling my inexperience is going to bite me in the ass when it comes to depth..

Connoly late seems nice. Glenn Murray late could be good also if you have IR spots.

Gonna take Ovechkin over Heater ? That could be a mistake.
