No, I advocate just calling the river. And you haven't answered yet what you expect to beat after you got 3bet.

Note also, that there's someone behind us yet to act too. So a raise - even if we're ahead - only realizes more $$ if he would overcall and ALSO cold-call our raise, or if he would neither overcall nor cold-call the raise

Whenever he'd overcall but not cold-call, we end up with the same profit for the river: 2BB. We're only risking half the money, though.

You can't fold this hand anywhere. pf you've got a broadway pp, you should be happy it's capped. On the flop, you've got the fourth nuts, and numbers one and two (AT/T9) are unlikely to be capped pf, so you should again be happy it's capped.

On the turn, you might be down to one out, sure, but you might have as many as 5 (note that you won't have ten given the preflop action), and you might still have the best hand if JJ/TT/AQs are in UTG's preflop capping range and MP2 is stacking off. On balance, I don't think you have enough to raise, but the pot's way too big to even consider folding without reads.

That river is yuck. Given a the way he played this hand, UTG doesn't have AJ or AQ, and AK/TT is seriously unlikely. If you get 3-bet, calling is spew but you can't fold, so just call and improve your read.

MP2 is all-in on the turn for a half-bet.

You're right. Got confused by the "two call" comment on the turn.

if there WAS another player in on the river then yeah i would go for the overcall.

i dont understand the question your asking, if he 3bets we cant fold so why would we care what he has at that point? our decision on the river is to (a) call, or to (b) raise/call. if we think we have >67% equity then we raise/call, if we dont then we just call.

ill admit after re-reading the hand this decision is very close, one half of me says that he has repped exactly KK this whole hand, the other half says that we are at BODOG 2/4, with the 4th nuts and this shouldnt be overthought....

hmm....

actually im leaning towards just calling the river. he has KK just too much of the time.

Thanks for your comments. In the end UTG showed Aces and MP hat KTo.
