Re: Betting so you don\'t have to show down your hand
You know, I don't really have a problem getting paid off on my good hands around here, because people never fold anyway. So I find it more useful to have a solid image that lets me steal more than my fair share of pots, than maybe get 1 extra
BB/session. Anyways, good comments. |

Re: Betting so you don\'t have to show down your hand
Proudly table your 72 and yell ship it. Make a mental note and showdown good hands. You'll make more by showing down your occasional bluff than you will by stealing pots, espcially if you have that type of image where they allow you to steal too many pots.

Re: Betting so you don\'t have to show down your hand
I have made that bet so I can't really talk... When it works, and the guy folds, its a green light to keep stealing.
When I get called and show down 72o... That session is blown for stealing. At least for awhile. I saw a pro turn over his 72o in a 10/20 game @ FW after winning a hand on a bluff. Nobody, including me, let him bluff again. Which should have been a good thing for him. Except with so many callers he was forced to make his hands and he wasn't hitting... |

Re: Betting so you don\'t have to show down your hand
just check and call it a day though in reality unless you think this spot is fantasticly easy...but with fish there many times calling (on pots like this w/ Q55 lol) you shoudln't be stealing vs. him anyways imo.
