[ QUOTE ] most contracts have a clause that allows them to change any part w/o your consent nor the need to notify you. [/ QUOTE ] Although I'm not a lawyer I'm going to go out on a limb and say "Ah, no." [/ QUOTE ] after brief research it seems that they just have to notify you and in most cases the changes take 30 days to apply |

This is how gyms make money. They know most people sign up, go for a week or two, then quit.
That's why they require you do a 6month/1yr/2yr membership, so they can milk as much as they can. |

It's actually assault and battery fwiw.
You don't need to hit someone to assault them (by the law), and something as little as spitting on someone is battery. |

perhaps a well placed brick through the window? or maybe through that of her car? hell, molotov ftw!
seriously though, people suck, and there's not an awful lot you can do about it, short of killing them all. Rache ist Blut, as the germans say, and if it's not worth drawing blood over, then it's not worth bothering with at all. |

[ QUOTE ] In sum, when I signed up I signed a contract saying that I would have to cancel (x) amount of days before the next billign cycle. [/ QUOTE ] This is all you needed to say, they have to abide by the contract you signed, why did you let the little biatch get to you. [/ QUOTE ] I'm sure the contract also says they can change the terms at any time without any notice. That is a horrible policy however. Maybe you could contact the BBB and complain, I think you can complain about stuff that is technically legal but in poor faith. |

OOT I wish we could form a coalition of consumers, and anytime OOT confirmed something was BS, we all sent emails/made phone calls, making things heard. POWER TO THE PEOPL1!!!!! |

I dont get emotionally upset about things like this. Instead, I take a diplomatic approach and call into action my extended vocabulary. [/ QUOTE ]I have no opinion on your situation, but this made me laugh. |
