Re: I\'m stupid and screwed this up #2
Is the turn a bet fold if its not a 6, k, or J or heart?

Re: I\'m stupid and screwed this up #2
I'd fold preflop, but the rest of this looks fine. Check/calling with top two would be really bad. If you knew for a fact that villain was TAP, you could bet/fold the flop, but I think this is good against an unknown.

Re: I\'m stupid and screwed this up #2
yeah i guess it would be retarded to let them have a free card with top two if they have 1 pair type hands that would just fold flop to a bet. i agree preflop is easy fold too.

Re: I\'m stupid and screwed this up #2
i just dont see why villian would be so willing to get their money in as fast as possible on the flop or turn in a limped pot that doesnt have us crushed when they have position as well.

Re: I\'m stupid and screwed this up #2
Here's what my line would be, any comments guys?
Fold preflop. Check the flop, call a bet. Bet-fold a blank turn. Check-fold a flush turn and maybe a straight turn. Too weak? |

[ QUOTE ]
Fold preflop. Check the flop, call a bet. Bet-fold a blank turn. Check-fold a flush turn and maybe a straight turn. [/ QUOTE ] Fold preflop? Agree. Check the flop, call a bet? I generally prefer leading out with a reasonable bet to check-calling. If you bet out there's always a chance you win the pot right there whereas if you check/call IMO you often get yourself in trouble (especially with top2). Bet-fold a blank turn? Agree. Check-fold a flush turn and maybe a straight turn? Pretty tough spot. If the board gets 3-suited then I think c/f is the way to go against unknown. But if there's only a straight possible I guess I would bet once more about 60% of the time. |
