well, i finally handled a patriots game properly. i took a nap and slept through kickoff so i wasn't able to bet the cowboys.

Wasn't overjoyed with laying the wood on SDG, but I just felt like Oak's poor run D would be very exploited today. We'll see.

Finally, a break goes my way. Oakland screws up a chip shot field goal and San Diego covers the -6.5 half.

When the breaks go your way it feels like it is the way it is supposed to go. When they go against you it feels like the impossible has happened and that you are personally being punished by the God of Degenerate Gambling.

I need another drink.

I feel the opposite. When a break like that goes my way I feel like I've sold my soul to the devil for it to happen. Otherwise I just expect to get screwed.

Well, people who run 'normal' bad simply bet AZ -4 and lose when it closes -6. People who run on a whole new level of bad lose that same bet to a 43 year old quarterback who comes out of retirement that very week while having their starting QB get injured.
