I think that when your opponent is playing a similar push/fold style that the advantage you gain by using SAGE is smaller than it is when they are not push/fold. People seem to ignore how important the blinds are in the end of the match. If you limp with 5bb because you think you can "outplay" your opponent postflop then you are going to have multiple problems in your game as you move up. SAGE type play is one of the simplest and most effective strategies to implement in HUSNGs, it's not often that people come by with a near optimal way to play a part of HUSNGs and share their information with you. [/ QUOTE ] I agree with you, but just for arguements sake watch a 2k or 5k HUsng with iftarii or almost anyone. You will see limping and minraising with 5BBs. I don't understand why. |
