Windows XP Pro, CD (dont think it was original), when I try to use winamp or any other device I get an error. Now when I start my computer it says it found new hardware, but it cnat locatre the drive.

I know I shouldnt have to. But I have no other choice. My friend is a retard and cant figure out whats wrong. And Im not the best with computers.
