I'm the type of guy who only puts all my chips in with the nuts. I figured there were enough people in the pot that someone had to have something and I was thinking that the fish present would call with any made hand and some draws and that the better players would come in with 2 pair+. I thought that this would be the best way to get all my chips in when most turns either scare me or my opponents.

When 'hero' tanked, I realised that not all two pair hands were instacalls and that perhaps a three bet is better but I also think that it's very difficult to get 'hero' to double me up if I show genuine strength rather than overbet pushing like a fish with a flush draw.

QTs I'm happy three betting because being flat called is not bad thing.
