Why don't you try working it out using pokerstove, his likely calling range and wha you think his 3-betting range is.
Without doing that any answer isn't worth [censored]. |

If villain squeezes a ton and you make it ~$78 to go instead of shoving then this play becomes good (fold to a shove ldo)

Everyone talking about what cards to do this with is wrong wrong wrong. Do you really think it's okay to do with 9Ts or 87s but not KTs !? WTF.
Whether or not this is +EV depends entirely on how loose his 3bet range is and how tight his shove-calling range is. If you have a very good read on him this could be +EV. Usually people who 3bet very loose also call shoves loose, so that's bad. People who 3bet tight of course already have good hands so they call. This works on people who 3bet loose but only call shoves with a very small range. |

[/ QUOTE ] It looks like KTs and T9s do just about the same against a fairly normal calling range of JJ+, AK. But the difference is very small and not what makes this play work or not work. |

Pretty bad. People don't squeeze that much at 1/2. Pot isn't big enough PF to make it worth it for the times you get called.
