ruben seems like a sure thing for like 800y and 8tds, but he wont get you any more than that, where as i think there is a potential for taylor to put up much better numbers, but the potential is also there for him to be a total bust

Droughns had 1232 yards last year, so I'm not sure why you think he won't get more than 800 this year. I would take this deal. D. Davis has been hurt a lot, and he is already having some injury issues this year. Droughns is worthy of being a #2 back, having him as a #3 is a nice luxury.

RD only had 2 TDs last year though. While he should break 1,000 yeards again will he really rack up enough TDs to be a #2 fantasy back? There are a lot of questions about the Browns O, the biggest one is still the Line though, and if they haven't improved over last year (they are already on their 4th center since camp opened) he just won't get many chances at putting up oints.

The only bad thing about Droughns is that his OL seems to be dropping like flies.

That's like saying the only bad thing about Quarterback A is that his throwing arm has leprosy.

Droughns Oline wasnt that great last year..plus he was without BE and KW...also CF was a rookie.

He is the main RB...CT will be taken out near the goal line.

In a reception league I rather have Taylor. I believe the former PHI offensive coord is now the Minn head coach so he could be used like Westbrook. In non reception I would take Droughns.

Browns are already on the 4th center this year, and edwards isn't back yet (and played part of last year) and CF still has only 5 games under his belt. I'm not sold on this offense putting up that many points untill they've had some time together.

This is a good debate because in one of my leagues I will be debating between Droughns and Taylor with my first pick. I have pretty much decided that based on upside and O-line, that Taylor is the guy.

While Taylor won't get the touchdowns (in theroy) that Droughns will, he's good for plenty of recieving yards to make up the difference.

For real? Are you picking last in a 20-team league, or what?
