Re: 200NL - 2 Really Sick River Decisions
[ QUOTE ]
Hand 1: You only need to win 1 time in 3 to make calling profitable. [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Hand 2: I can't fold a set getting 3 to 1 on a river when I was planning to shove myself anyway. I mean, do you seriously think you're behind here 75% of the time? [/ QUOTE ] Agreed. I think whether or not you are ahead is questionable, but your decision isn't because you are so invested. I'm calling in both these spots without much hestitaion. |

Re: 200NL - 2 Really Sick River Decisions
Looking back, and after talking to people, I think it is correct to:
Fold H1 Call H2 |

When he has other pairs that he thinks are good like TT-QQ. When he realizes he really [censored] up with 44 and tries to bluff with it. When he has other pairs and feels you're bluffing. IDK, enough of the time imo. |

Re: 200NL - 2 Really Sick River Decisions
If you are that afraid of pocket sevens then you need to play your hand like pocket kings instead of like A/K or else you are going to run into this situation. You have to call both of these unless you have some kind of a big tell.
