Button is a tard, Peggy is isolating, Dean wants to play a HU pot with Peggy but is perfectly happy with the button coming along. I do the same.

it is folded to the button who is both retarded and is blind stealing. 99 is ahead of any reasonable SB 3betting range, plus positional advantage, plus chance that btn now folds. It should be standard for you to 4bet this too, no matter who the players are.

i guess coming from a more online poker background (where having 88-tt in this spot, 3 bets to you in the bb, would be kind of a tight and/or read-based spot) is what influenced my question. thanks guys.

I hate it, I raise here every time. If she folds so be it, we were maybe going to get 1 more bet out of her on the river. Just raise it and hope she hit a full house on the turn or was slow playing kings on the flop.
