Re: NL50 - Is this AA/KK?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] don't raise the bet if you're not going to snap call a shove [/ QUOTE ] It is a 'lets see where i'm at raise' and i'm not priced in if he shoves. If I call and he bets a blanked turn, then I still dont know where I stand. [/ QUOTE ] so he shoved all in, do you know where you stand at now? |

Re: NL50 - Is this AA/KK?
As played you probably should fold, you built a big pot without being willing to play one, therefore you set yourself up for a tough decision.

Re: NL50 - Is this AA/KK?
Villain can have AsKs for sure but AA is literally 6x more likely.

He's got a big hand that he doesn't want me to draw out on him. [/ QUOTE ] So he could have JJ, or maybe TT...or maybe AKss...O wait....we didn't learn a single thing about his hand by raising....ooopppsss |

Re: NL50 - Is this AA/KK?
So im looking at this hand and its a situation I find myself in a lot. I have to confess, I probably play this hand the same up to this point. I also have to admit, that most of the time Im beat with QQ but usually I have too much money invested in pot to fold! Now am I right in thinking that after villains bet on the flop our decision is to fold or push (purely reads based)? Calling is not an option coz we probably face the same decision on the turn, right?
