I went there with a CD player that worked (though it skipped). Now I do not have a CD player that works. It isn't supposed to work that way. They could've sent me on my way with a 1994 Taurus as long as it had a [censored] CD player that worked.

In all seriousness, does your CD player have an aux jack? Get that or one of those radio transmitters for your iPod, get over it.

My stereo got stolen as soon as I moved to the city, at least you're getting a new one for free soon.
