Okay then its bet turn, if called 1/2 pot river, with the intention of giving up if he raises you at any point.

Even with a high af his aggression is likely going to be somewhat polarized. Given how passively villain plays the flop and turn it is likely he has a marginal pair. Given this his calling range is going to be greater than his betting range on the river.

Makes sense, thanks for input. So the river bet is sort of like a blocking bet?

Hand Results:

Looks as if he was trying to float me. Had I bet the turn I might have taken the pot down there, but I did take a risk checking the turn which ended up paying me off, though I know I won't be ahead here most of the time. Though I was right that I assumed villain thought I had nothing (My C-bet% is almost 100) </font>
