Re: KEM? COPAG? MODIANO?
I use the 4-color Copags and really like them... Some poker noobs are shocked when they see their first flop though! LOL

Re: KEM? COPAG? MODIANO?
I agree. I recently bought 2 sets of Modiano and they are excellent.

Re: KEM? COPAG? MODIANO?
Is there a deck of cards that has 4 pipes, 4 colours and poker index (not jumbo)? Or 4 colours and poker index (two pipes)?
Pismeyer, how do the Modianos shuffle? It's very easy with Copags (if not bent due to some deformation process) because they slide very well. I'm kinda concerned that the Modianos might not slide that into each other because of their relative thickness. Re: KEM? COPAG? MODIANO?
To save some money by not purchasing all three brands you can typically get samples on ebay and other sites like 5 stardeal and caragails.

Re: KEM? COPAG? MODIANO?
Its all opinion but I play with bridge sized KEMs and some of brand plastic cards that are poker sized but these are not in my chip set I keep that deck in my car so for my games I use KEMS.

Re: KEM? COPAG? MODIANO?
I have had consistent bowing/bending issues with Kems and Modianos...I have not had bowing/bending issues with Copags, Dal Negros, Fourniers, NTPs or Desjgns.

Re: KEM? COPAG? MODIANO?
Well, our Copags do have bowing/bending issues, as all pastic cards potentially do, I suppose. Telling from what I know about our Copags and from what I read about KEMs, there are bowing and bending issues with all kinds of plastic cards. It seems to be a matter of luck whether you get a bend/bowed one or whether your deck will loose shape when used (appears depend on storage, moisture and heat etc.), or whether your deck will last and keep it's perfect shape for long time to come.
Still, KEMs and Copags have the best image of all. I personally think I'll try KEMs next (but with regular index). |

Re: KEM? COPAG? MODIANO?
I'm hard pressed to think of a cardroom/casino that uses poker-sized cards for poker. Bridge-sized cards are preferred, in part because they're easier to square up

Re: KEM? COPAG? MODIANO?
i would go with modiano, u could get 4 decks for the price of two decks of Kems.
Only negatives are they are stiff so if u have to shuffle all night its easier to do with kems or copags. other than that i would go with modiano |
