Your title on the post , makes me belive that your thought process is alittle off.

The pot is 75, that is really not worth going after with QJos out of position preflop. These low level buy-ins on stars you have very little fold equity at this blind level, so I think it is a spew to raise here.

As played either push the turn, or shut down(i tend to shut down because the lack of these players to lay down any pair on the board). Once you check the turn the illusion of an over pair is gone.

I agree Potowame. After my turn check, my hand lost value very quickly.

I don't know if I'll understand this stupid game.

I never said muck pf. I just wouldn't raise.

ItalianFX, I think in an effort to open your game up a little you might be falling into the common trap of just widening your pf hand selection instead of looking at the hand as a whole situation. The last thing you should consider in a given situation is your hand.

Look for spots that any two can be profittable like raising a nit's blind in LP, or raising loose limpers who fold to cbets when they miss flops.

Though, at these stakes it's generally unecessary and sometimes wrong to open your game up.

This is a good point.

First off, I would not raise here. I don't like building a pot with QJ. I would just call and see a cheap flop and hope to hit something. If not...check/fold.

I hate raisng this oop. However if you read button as weak it could be ok. Bet on flop is ok. I go into check fold mode after this though.
