Re: AK flops tptk gets c/r twice
Villain's range is heavily weighted towards set/2pair on this dry flop. With that said there is no value/reason for betting this turn.
Do you have any kind of history with villain? Is there any reason at all he could be getting out of line with you? |

[/ QUOTE ] no history. with me taking this line, in other words disregard my hole cards, what hand am i representing. what hands should i be able to fold out, what hands are shoving on me. is it possible for villain to take this action with AK. i dont see how he could c/r the turn with AK given the dryness of the board. |

3bet the flop. after our turn bet aren't we getting sick odds to call ? 3.6-1 ?

[ QUOTE ] i think if you're betting the turn it shouldn't be to fold to a push, his weird line probably doesn't just equate to 22/77 [/ QUOTE ] how can it not? unless he has air theres no way hes playing a worse ace this way IMO. i opened utg called a flop c/r and lead the turn after the flop action. he has to have better then AK to take this line id think [/ QUOTE ] I have never seen someone do a double checkraise at 100nl. I'm betting the turn figuring my TPTK to be good and calling his shove. |

This dude has a way wider range than sets if this were against me but maybe this is image dependent, I don't know if you play sig. differently than me postflop. |

Re: AK flops tptk gets c/r twice
I'm making the decision on the flop based on the villain. Most aren't check raising that flop with worse than AK and I'm folding to the flop raise. Calling and hoping he slows down is spew. Obviously vs a donkey I'm going with the hand.

Re: AK flops tptk gets c/r twice
If I bet the turn it is because I want it all in. Bet folding is gross.
