Re: Beard Papa\'s Cream Puffs
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Tank, They are so-so cream puffs. They are delicious, because they are cream puffs. But they are not as good as anything you'll get from a good bakery. Cue Paluka w/ comments about how awesome they are. For a fast-food snack, I agree they are pretty damn great. [/ QUOTE ] El D, How about from a business perspective? Good in trendy, high traffic areas basically? [/ QUOTE ] High walking traffic is probably enough. One on B'way and Astor I think. |

Re: Beard Papa\'s Cream Puffs

They are awesome. They are basically just cream puffs but for some reason (I'm assuming secret Japanese government technology) they are amazing. They melt in your mouth mmmm.... Are there a bunch in the US? The only one I was aware of was the one on Canal St in NYC. [/ QUOTE ] there's one near 42nd & 6th - it's inside this lunch place called zaiya. Here's the rest of the info: http://www.muginohousa.com/main.php?nav=locations |

[/ QUOTE ] El D - I've never had a cream puff at a bakery that is as good as Beard Papa's Green tea or vanilla bean creme puffs, and my step father was a baker. I want to visit the bakeries you visit if you can really get better, because its pretty hard to beat Beard Papa... but I'd love to try! TT [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] |

Re: Beard Papa\'s Cream Puffs
I think there are 2 in LA. One at Sawtelle/Olympic and another in Hollywood.

Re: Beard Papa\'s Cream Puffs
Fairly weak as cream puffs go. There's one in the Hollywood & Highland complex right next to the Chinese Theatre.
