Im guessing he wanted a max deal and the Bobcats wanted to make sure he could stay healthy the whole season before giving it. If he plays 80 games this year he'll be back.

Your team looked really, really terrible. Losing that badly at home without "first team" All-NBA Amare in the lineup no less (mild sarcasm). Of course we'd both prefer this say more about the Suns than the Bobcats but only time will tell.
