If you're actually playing $100NL you're posting in the wrong forum. You should either be posting in "PL/NL Texas Hold'em:Small Stakes" if you're playing 6-max or "PL/NL Texas Hold'em:Full Ring" if you're playing full ring.

$100NL is not beginner stakes!

I don't want to sound harsh, but, judging from your posts in this forum playing $100NL would be a very, very bad idea unless you don't mind losing money. My biggest suggestion, by far, would be to move down several levels and start reading the forums I posted in the first paragraph.

I'll give you this little tidbit. BANKROLL management. Don't play a new level until you have 20 times the buyin. So for you to play .5/1 blinds, ideally you would have a 2k bankroll.

How do you step up to $1NL? Anyway, don't worry and play your usual game. Anything below 25NL is a cakewalk. 50NL is where the game starts to get harder.... at least for the SSNL player.

First off as CryMeARiver stated, you should not be a beginner at the 100NL tables. If you are just getting started in poker, post here. Otherwise, there are better venues for your question here on 2+2.

If you are completely new to poker and are thinking of playing on the $100NL tables, I will pay you $100.00 for your screen name. Online players will SHREAD you within a day or two "if you are truly a new playah"..... I would like the opportunity to be the SHREADER.

My advice if you are a beginner to ONLINE poker, but have experience on the live tables, play MUCH lower stakes until you get the feel of online play. IT IS DIFFERENT and you WILL HAVE TO ADJUST YOUR GAME.

Bankroll at least 15 buy-ins at the next level before moving up. Someone said 20.... that's OK too.

As far as asking for strategy..... and your attitude that you took when others have chimed in here...... Get off your high-horse. We'll help with strat in the OTHER areas of 2+2 that are more appropriate. Post "When do I Move Up" in the Micro-Stakes area if you are 6Max; post in the Full Ring area if that is your preference (but there, make sure to include stakes in your title like "50NL When do I Move to 100NL") BTW, the SEARCH button is your friend here. There are several threads about this very subject EVERY MONTH. All regulars here on 2+2 are getting a little jaded about having to answer the same question over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over andover and over AGAIN . Search is your friend.

One other item that you need clarification on. People normally describe No Limit table stakes by the max buy in. So .5/$1 blinds in known as 100NL, not $1.
