This is a perfect example of why you dont post the results in the original post. It simply gives you biast results. Once he hit the flush and raised he had half of his stack committed. He said the villian was loose and i think he made the right play in calling the all in.

You can't be serious. He already has half of his stack in this pot. Easy call; forget what the result was.

i'm w/ mikey on this one. you can't call if villian has a higher flush, you're drawing to 1 out.

i completely agree w/ dcviperboy... so next time i won't post results until later? ok... so i didn't lead the flop as I normally would because villain was so aggro and i knew he could potentially raise me with any 2 cards and he would likely raise me off my flush with a pair... i didn't check raise flop b/c i thought villain was capable of committing his chips all in w/ top pair... i wanted to see the turn cheap w/ my heart draw and trap him w/ a check if i hit, knowing that if i missed i would've gotten away cheap (and potentially could see another free card if had trash and checked) and if i hit i would get payed off on turn or river (depending on how much he bet i would have potentially check called him on turn... running the risk of him having a higher heart draw so that i could stack him...

oh and this was a $300 buy in as i said in title
p.s. was the only problem w/ my post format that i gave results? was that bakingace's problem

No seriously, you're only drawing to 1 out.

I don't like check/call on that flop very much.

I think if you like the lead on this flop the lead and the possible reraise all-in is the move...

You don't know this before hand.

And he has HALF his chips in the pot. I can't believe people are saying fold here.

it doesn't matter how many chips he has in the pot, when you're beat, you're beat!
