Re: NL20 fold straight to turn raise (baluga)?
In this case, opponnent could have a set, two pair, which he's willing to stack off with that we beat. Can't use baluga.

if villain shoves river, is it still a call?

Re: NL20 fold straight to turn raise (baluga)?
Turn is a snapcall.
I'm not sure on the river action. I believe beting out like half a pot is best but problem lies is what I call Gold theorem (yes, after Jamie). River is a complete blank and villain might think his 2 pair/set is good and raise you. In other words villain might missjudge his own strength and you have to fold to his raise. |

Re: NL20 fold straight to turn raise (baluga)?
If he shoves the river, it depends on what the card was. If it came up pairing the board, probably gonna let it go (villain's aggression is TINY), and villain could easily have a set right now. If it came blank, it's still a tough call, because he may have the flush already, but may have a set and feel it's good.
Given the aggression=.9, I'm tending to fold to a river shove. |
