Re: FTP account hacked; unknown transfer made; please help
The problem is - and I'm not saying blumpkin did this but just presenting Full Tilts side - blumpkin could have went somewhere else in the country, made the transfer, then cried foul and said "Look, its a different IP, it's obviously a hacker".
Good luck with this blumpkin, hopefully the recipient of the transfers will be able to shed more details, and help catch(assuming he's not in on it). |

Re: FTP account hacked; unknown transfer made; please help
[ QUOTE ]
Obviously, "W" was able to get the transfered money off the site by now, so Full Tilt would have to eat the loss, therfore the transfer stands. Thanks for playing! [/ QUOTE ] "He's not guilty so he keeps your money, even though we know you were hacked and didn't do any transfer." WTF. I'm getting sick of hearing [censored] like this. |

Re: FTP account hacked; unknown transfer made; please help
Should the mods make a seperate board called "FTP Security Problems"? This is ridiculous.

Re: FTP account hacked; unknown transfer made; please help
I wonder if a study's ever been done to check the mathematical correlation between those whose FTP accounts get hacked, and those who download warez, participate in file sharing, etc.
FTP may be not be part of the solution, but they aren't the ones hacking your account, or putting keyloggers on your system. |

Re: FTP account hacked; unknown transfer made; please help
More than once, folks have admitted finding keyloggers and such on their sytems after being hacked. At no time has anyone ever actually displayed any proof about an insider at FTP doing the hacking.
In the absence of any proof to the contrary, the source of any hack is likely to be found in the hackee's computer. If you can demonstrate evidence or proof of any of it coming from employees or former employees, then your argument may have some merit. Otherwise, it's just bald speculation based on thin air. Seriously...if you can prove it, please share; it would be helpful to those who have lost $$$. |

[/ QUOTE ] Something has to be up with FTP, any time someone says they're hacked it's FTP almost everytime, with UB in 2nd, and sites no one has ever heard of in third. Not saying FTP is doing something to cause it, but they might want to put some $ in security and cust service. |

So blumpkin, if you don't get your $1200 back, are you still going to play at FTP?

Re: FTP account hacked; unknown transfer made; please help
It could just be that there's a common virus infection that is specifically targetting the full tilt accounts.
