Re: AP .25/.50 - ok to fold here?
you put 23 of your 40 stack into this hand. hmmmm. My advice would be to plan ahead before you bet. If you figured you would fold to a raise, then you probably shouldn't have bet this much as in my book it commits you to the pot. I agree with other respondents...check this flop. Or, probe bet if that's more your style.

[ QUOTE ]
There's still plenty o' fish. Actually now that all 2p2'ers are gone, the games are quite soft. [/ QUOTE ] The nl50 games are soft everywhere. Do you not give a [censored] if they are cheating you and not disclosing information about it despite having mounds of evidence pushed forward? Do you care that the checks might bounce as some already have? |

Re: AP .25/.50 - ok to fold here?
Of course I care
I have not heard about checks being bounced. Last one I got 2 weeks went through OK. Do you have any links to this information? As for the cheating thing... well, I doubt that anyone is cheating in .25/.50. Frankly, I could probably play with my cards exposed and still beat up on people at perhaps a slightly lower rate. As long as the fish is there, I will play. If the checks start to bounce - I will then leave. That's about as simple as it gets. |

Re: AP .25/.50 - ok to fold here?
I agree, the AP games are really soft now, I'm just being handed some 100-200bb stacks. I had a full-ring table this weekend where I was the only player with a VPIP under 40.
