Can ANYONE explain how a rational player could take this blind push approach?

is there ANY possible gain from doing this, rather than pushing preflop?

All I could think is that Kahn was surprised that he wasn't RR preflop, and somehow thought "I have a big hand" was a reverse-tell.

It will be interesting to see how much of Yang's praying makes it on air. For those of us that watched it live, you couldn't avoid hearing his constant pleas to a higher power. However, the only hint we have had so far is that hand against Alaei, when Tran told him that praying isn't allowed at the table. We didn't really hear what Yang said, just Tran's reply.

its gonna be amazing if he had it alot, because he was 3-betting/raising a TON.
