Re: How good is David Benyamine?
i keep hearing this mentioned about certain guys
"great live, horrible online" there can be a few reasons for this 1. online players are much better than live players 2. online players play a different style that these guys dont match up well against 3. the ability to make physical tells play a big role in their live game 4. they have been running good live (@ 30 hands per hour this is the most likely scenario of these 4 options) |

[ QUOTE ]
I don't play at full tilt, and I can't comment on David's skill level there. However, I did play at hi stable during a couple of the tournaments at the WSOP this year, and he played fantastic. His reads were as strong as anybody, and he took full advantage of them. If he does lose online, then it must be simply that those players are tactically better than him, but that's not much of an insult at the levels he plays. Live, I doubt there are many who are better. Later, Greg Raymer (FossilMan) [/ QUOTE ] i don't think its fair to say that they are tactically better. It very well may be the case, but the fact that he 3-4 (minimum) tables different games and plays ridiculously long hours is a huge leak. I think in NL cash online he may be at a disadvantage but if he could plug some of his leaks he could prove otherwise. I don't think many people will argue though when combining live and online and all different forms of poker he is one of the best in the world. |

Re: How good is David Benyamine?
People keep saying that he lost online with no prove of that. All I can see is he's up this year on all of his accounts combine. Yes he does lost on NLH but his PLO result is huge. I think he's up over 1mil. FTP online this year so far. How could he be a loser?

Re: How good is David Benyamine?
It may sound a ridiculous question but do you think that guys like Benyamine, Gus, Mattusow etc actually track their results that welll. Do you think that they have Pokertracker for example, and can see that they are crushing Omaha, losing at NLH, or whatever? They can obviously, see their total by their balance, but it seems crazy to me that Benyamine for example would continue to play NLH.
