Perhaps you just suck at poker and should stop playing.

Seriously, you are a self-admitted losing player who cannot control his play. Stop playing bad or stop playing altogether.

You: Doctor, I eat 12 meals a day and I'm getting really fat, what should I do.

Doctor: Ummm...

Dude, this isn't something you learn, it's something you do.
You already "know" what you have to do. So do it.
Sounds like you lack discipline, and that's not something you can learn from a forum.

Is this FR NL or 6-max? Or limit?

If it's FR NL, then fold out of position in raised pots more. Don't bluff OOP. C-B less often on low, coordinated flops when your OOP.

Then, when you are in position and have a chance to bluff, take a free card once in a while.

My guess is you are playing out of position too much, and then trying too hard to win after the flop despite your bad position.

i have a few friends who are like you.. they simply dont want to win with the best hand but go in with the worse and either put a bad beat on you or try to bluff you.. these friends are rich though and i think that they dont care about the money and use the game as a way of getting one over on the opposition.. this is a deep personality trait and will be hard to change but it is possible but will take lots of self control to change... good luck to you though

Learn to valuebet light. Also change your range so that you play more hands that make top pairs (2 cards bigger than 9 is ok from position) and less drawing hands. Light valuebetting can be as fun as bluffing or even better. The best thing is you will make some money with it. You have to realize that most people call too much and you should be making sick valuebets, not sick bluffs.

You can only bluff good players. Remember that and it will save you an awful lot of money.

Not sure if this is a joke? I guess limit would be safer, but I love NL holdem, and would rather just learn not to bluff than play a game I find boring.

I think what chess is saying is that you clearly have a problem stacking yourself. At least in limit, when you make a bad play, it doesn't cost you all your chips.
