You guys must be some big money players then, what are you doing here posting in the lil ol low limit?? Its really funny how great I hear this forum is and how little help I get when I come here. Its a bunch of sarcastic multi-tabling geeks. "Oh yea, well anyone can do that...poker tracker is neato!" is the typical response here so far... Does Anyone here actually leave the comfort of their one bedroom apartment and play LIVE? Consider me a barrel.

Well, this is small stakes, which is typically geared towards $100 and $200 games. In addition, I think that people will play higher live than their normal online games, rather than lower, so I doubt many people in this forum will have experience in this game. If you asked your question in micro NL you would probably have a higher chance of finding someone. However, even though I'm sure people in a $40 buyin game are pretty downietastic, I have a difficult time seeing a live game of that size being beatable in the long run. Having $4 dropped in every pot will KILL your winrate when $4 is a pretty big percentage of the pots you're going to be winning.

lol hawaiian gardens (like most live casinos out here in socal) is a joke. All the games up to the 2/5 are extremely short-stacked and they are the loosest tables around.

Here's all the strategy you need lol:

1. Raise big pairs preflop to an amount that gets the most value out of them.
2. Rarely raise non-pair hands (or small pocket pairs looking to flop a set) especially in early position.
3. Value bet the [censored] out of those clowns when you hit.
4. Don't bluff.
5. Seriously, don't.
6. ???
7. Profit.

Well it seems i was wrong. I did come out of here with good input

I have noticed too that HG is a short stacked nightmare. the only legit live "deepstack" NL game I have seen in CA are the commerce and HG 1,000 buy and the Morongo 2/5 bling 100 min no MAX buy in...

Why do CA cardrooms suck so much! I always said the Short stack NL games are what build those places with rakes. No one really comes out ahead. My buddy has been crushing the 40 but this weekend his streak was broke by a long session of bad beats and donkey play.

Wooden Barrel,

This thread really belongs in HSNL (maybe even BBV) where you can get tons of valuable feedback. NL40 too baller for here.

P.S. can a mod give this guy a wooden barrel custom title, and if not can I get it?
