i think preflop you can play this a number of ways as its a decent hand - if villan was really running agro then i would probably 3 bet here, although i do like as least 1 suit when i 3 bet. as this plays out i think i fold, but its very close and would depend on what i had seen villan doing preflop generally.

I understand what you're saying, but I couldn't fold there if opponent is raising so much pre flop.

This is why pokertracker differentiates between preflop and postflop aggression. A critical aspect in any PLO player's success is finding a comfortable c-betting style that gets action when hero hits and when everyone misses. i agree that it is very frustrating to fold the flop. If it was an AQ8 or AQ9 board with flush draw, we could assign a wider range to the villian.

I completely agree with the last post about the distinction between pre-flop and post-flop aggression.
If the villain usually folds post-flop, even after strong raise pre, I think that this kind of C-bet has something behind.

Probably I would fold, if I would play at this level. I write it because in my stakes [PLO5], in the same situation, usually I would be ahead and I would shove (with a rainbow flop and no straight-draw he should have something like AQ or, simply, he is a complete maniac).

Considering my level, I don't think I can help you a lot, but it is just my opinion.

Assuming he's a halfway competent player and doesn't think this is hold'em, he has to be holding AAxx at least 75% of the time here... he's committing the rest of his chips ($115) over your raise to $24. If he has AKJT or AKQJ seeing a turn makes much more sense. Even if he is making this move with AKJT (which I doubt), he's 33%; AKQJ (even more rare) is 22%. Again assuming competency the likelihood of 222 approaches zero. This compared to you being 10% against his likely aces... seems like an easy fold.

Well I only play at PLO50 and below, but I would just have to wear this one if he has AAxx.

I don't pretend to be right in any post I make on these boards. I offer an opinion for feedback to the OP and I welcome any comments/ criticism of my analysis.

If he's raising every hand I don't see how you can give him credit for aces. Against a tight player it's an easy fold. But also if this guy is a thinking player he will also know that you would probably re-raise pre-flop with Aces so it's unlikely you have that, and maybe he can push you off it.

Still, even if he has Aces you have redraws to a backdoor straight, backdoor clubs, or quads, which probably give you around 12% equity.

I would ask however why you raise on the flop - what are you expecting him to call you with? It's not a drawey board, and your set of queens makes it unlikely he has top two pair or better. I probably smooth call the flop, which disguises your hand and helps you get some value.
