[/ QUOTE ]

what do you mean "hes never folding?" I just don't get that. His flop calling range is not simply Qx/sets/xhxh

the only real relevent thing about the J is that it's a heart. Not too much of his range is going to be a pp. You didn't give any reads on utg though or any specific reads on villain so that could change a few things.

You mean % wise?

huh?

the fold means c/f. hes never bluffin. if he wanted to bluff u out he wouldve done it on the flop. if he had a med PP trust me he wouldve move in on flop. Even a-rag do that. They all do that. Sometimes yes u see a FD or TP but its rare.

now on turn you're wb on his range.

and i dont think about set against shorstack.

he is bluffing alot imo. that is why i like bet/folding here if i had air or A hi, because i don't want to be bluffed off by checking, plus i fold out some hands that i am behind

You said not too much of his range is pp. I'm saying do you mean that he doesn't call the flop with those hands, or that part of his range is small relative to his entire range.

both, they are directly related. I'm not saying he never does, just that it's unlikely.

def not 7c

Ah>9h, but i'd do both a reasonable amount. I think you kinda missed my point though, my point was that you had whiffed (ish)

I think I did miss your point. Could you re-explain? Since you said you'd db 9h sometimes, does that mean you would the Jh sometimes as well? Or does the fact that he's unlikely to turn 77 into a bluff make you think c/f is best?
