Re: 2/4, Getting 10,000:1 on the river, worth calling?
I've made this crazy kind of call once about a year ago for a huge pot on a dry board, but I was up big in the game and it was a super-aggressive player who was capable of bluffing with air.
Usually, someone super aggressive will be bluffing the whole way with multiple bullets. But if this guy just calls everything and then fires a river bullet- I think you gotta give him respect and lay this down. Its possible he was a dummy bluffing on the river with 56xx or a heart draw- but i think folding is good. |

Re: 2/4, Getting 10,000:1 on the river, worth calling?
I lean toward a call depending on who the button is. Only real sticky part about the hand is that he may be bluffing/valuebetting the river with AT and nut hearts.

Well some str8's got there. I think this is a value bet way way more often that a bluff. I let this go.

Re: 2/4, Getting 10,000:1 on the river, worth calling?
There are so many hands that have you beat: AT, A7, a set of 7's and the straight. If he was willing to chase you down with the 23 then would he have done it with any of those hands? Probably. Just fold. Calling down large bets with 2 pair in Omaha is not winning poker.
