Explain hopefully using maths,

No math needed. Your default position is that readless its a fold, but you say you will call if you have a read that they will stack off with an overpair. In SNGs, assuming your opponent will stack off with an overpair should be the default.

I hear people posting that if the effective stacks are 15x the raise or more, then this is OK. But that means that we have to stack our opponent half the time we hit, which, seeing as villain will miss the flop more than half the time, is just wrong imo. Add to that the fact that we aren't closing the action and it could easily be raised behind, and chips conserved > chips gained, and you have to fold the fours here.

Maybe it's different because it's an UTG raiser and higher PPs are a larger part of his range, but our position is so bad I can't see how you can call here...

I fold this hand to a raise w'out a read often. Reads I look for will payoff with overpair ...

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree with Noodleman that anyone raising UTG and hitting an overpair is stacking off almost always. You can make decent arguments for folding, but this isn't one.

It's totally awesome when this gets reraised by a mouth breather in LP. At least wait for a second caller or this is borderline.
