It's about a 12-14 hour trip factoring the piss breaks and the occasional truck stop hooker. Charge the lady $500 plus expenses. $300 would be a minimum in my opinion, that would pay you roughly $25 per hour of driving.

Yeah he has a 12-14 hour drive. But he's almost certainly going to have to stay over night and catch a flight home. I doubt 30 hrs at say $25/hr. is reasonable since he'll be sleeping and waiting for a plane, and possibly commuting to/from an airport. But he needs to charge more than 14 hours * $25/hr. or whatever hourly rate he's comfortable with.
