Re: Whats in your player notes?
I write the date and then specific actions/instructions/and extra tidbits that will help me when I play them again. I generally play 3 or 4 k hands a day so it helps.
EXamples 2/4/06-raised gutshot on turn getting 4-1. Likes to bluff river when checked to. Check raise river 03/06/06- ace ragger, likes to raise top pair despite the board. Bad beat me several times. Was nice to him. |

Re: Whats in your player notes?
I work from specific actions to generalities. Common things for me:
- Any time they call preflop w/a bad hand, along with position (ie A3o EP) - Any time they cold call PF, along with position, whether I see their hand at showdown or not. This is a good way to get a line on exactly how loose an unknown is without having to see a lot of hands on them. - People who open limp from CO, button, or SB. - People who almost always bet on a paired flop. - People who bluff, especially in bad spots. - Pokertracker stats if I have them (I currently do not use HUD's) - Generalities - ie "tight", "loose", "calls down w/anything", "Nothing unusual?" (if they've been at my table a while but I still don't have a line on them). |

Just a few from Party
****~limp reraised AKo bet 3bet 8 high flop bet called turn check called rier with ace high. awesome raise A8o utg1 check call KJ6 flop donks T turn donks river> ***_VTW~coldcall a5o fold to him on button limp 32s called a raise from SB will lead at a raise flop from a blind with A2o nhnd> ***~cold call 22 UTG raise called it down will limp donkfold> ***~What is fold?> ****~cold call reraise A3s check called his flush draw for 4 bets then shouted "noobs" when he took it down" [censored] this guy> Sometimes I just write Lag or SLAP etc. but as you can see I'm often quite thorough with my notes. When 9 tabling PAHUD is worthless and you don't have time to go to PT so you just open up notes and read quick. |

"Called me a C. U. N.ext T.uesday". Except I just type it out. ~I didn't think I could use that kind of language in this forum.
I hate it when I'm at the table with a hot head that thinks they can verbally abuse me. So I usually make a note. It usually means that they THINK they are a better poker player than they actually are. |

Re: Whats in your player notes?
I usually put specific stuff down that'll keep me from losing pots to them. like if a guy tends to bluff raise the turn heads up, i write that down (just an example because it happened today...)

Then when I play them again I ask about their chat. Puts them on tilt 50% of the time. |
