What was the drop/rake situation?
At Commerce with a $5+1+1 drop, I'd be inclined to change tables or get up and walk around for a while until game conditions change. Unless you are able to steal blinds twice a round. BTW, if this is the game you are playing, do yourself a favor and go play the $8-16 at HG with a $4+1 drop. The players at HG are worse anyway. If it's a rake game, never limp...open raise or fold. Open raise liberally in late position if there is a reasonable the blinds and players behind you will fold. Take advantage of weak/tight players, and get out of their way when they bet unless you have a hand that can win. |

It was Commerce. I'll definitely check out the HG game, I was surprised at the tightness at Commerce after the crazed 4/8 players. I stole blinds when I could here, but could tell without counting it out that I was getting drained by the rake, everyone was. Thanks for the advice!

[ QUOTE ]
I mean the people who defend w/ hands that are worse than any random 2 all the time. [/ QUOTE ] What hands would you categorize as the weakest hands you'd defend your blinds with ? |
