Live poker means busting that annoying Jamie Gold clone, and leaving the casino with his cold hard cash in your hands (or, in the case of Pokey, leaving the casino with grandma's money). It is much more satisfying.

Also, a few UTG straddles and seemingly wild plays like starting off your session with a bluff will do a lot for your table image. You can play 15%-20% of hands and people will just remember their first impression of you.

I'd rather have my nipples twisted by burning hot scissor-rods and wear barbwire around my waist all day than play live poker.

Just use your image to your advantage. cbet more liberally...you cannot have it both ways. either you'll get paid off on your good hands, or you'll be able to bluff a bit.

Biggest thing:

ITS NOT 6 MAX. ITS FULL RING. THIS REQUIRES AN ADJUSTMENT. I personally will go into the card room later at night to try and find just about ANY game that is SH vs. Full. Limit, NL, hell, even Omahahahaha.

i keep getting a reputation as being 'very tight' even though i'm running at around 25/15 at FR PL games. it really annoys me... yet they still call my pot sized bets?

[/ QUOTE ]

25/15 is nitty for live poker. I have trouble playing less than 50% of my hands.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? Really? Live poker for me is >>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;>>>>>>>> than online poker. Hourly rates take a hit though. Not being able to Multitable is a bitch. I wonder if the casino would let me pull up a chair between tables and play both at the same time?
